The tutorial needs a refresh for 9.6. While reviewing the ES|QL Discover pages in #8392, we found these issues:
- Line 69: the mode switch uses ES|QL or Try ES|QL. In 9.4 and later, the label is Query in ES|QL. The tag order on line 70 should also list
serverless first.
- Line 108: the step uses the
expand icon. The row action is now {icon}maximize View details.
- Lines 81 and 292: these queries use
KEEP. With KEEP, Discover replaces the chart of results over time with a chart based on the columns. The alt text on line 98 describes a histogram, and the surrounding text may need the same check.
- Review the rest of the page against 9.6 behavior and screenshots.
