Summary

Publish version 1.1.0 after merging the cross-platform safe-write improvements from PR #6.

Rationale

The current release workflow derives its tag from package.json. Because the package remains at 1.0.0, the successful main workflow correctly reused the existing tag and skipped release creation. A semver minor bump is required for the additive Linux, macOS, and Windows support.

Acceptance criteria

• package.json declares version 1.1.0.
• The full test matrix passes on Ubuntu, macOS, and Windows.
• The main push creates annotated tag v1.1.0 at the release commit.
• GitHub Release v1.1.0 is created and verified.
