Subview's textViews don't center horizontally all the time

The SAME sub-item layout is inflating slightly differently depending on the item clicked and I can't figure out why. I want the subitems to be centered horizontally. ( like the Yellow Cake example)

'Ingredient List' is the expandable item and below are the ingredients for that specific recipe.

I had a similar issue than you and solve it adding this method wich returns the item inserted to the ExpandingList (I added MATCH PARENT to fill all the Screen I notice that was in WrapContent thats why the items was not shown as we expected). The returned reference could be used for edit its views if needed:

        lpParent.width = ViewGroup.LayoutParams.MATCH_PARENT;

        ViewGroup.LayoutParams lpChild = ((View)item.getSubItemView(0).getParent()).getLayoutParams();
        lpChild.width = ViewGroup.LayoutParams.MATCH_PARENT;

        baseLinear.setLayoutParams(lpParent);
        ((View) item.getSubItemView(0).getParent()).setLayoutParams(lpChild);

        return item;
    }

NOTE: I am not using the indicator, all views that I need are in my com.diegodobelo.expandingview.ExpandingItem respectively:

    app:sub_item_layout="@layout/item_category_subitem"
