• Built real-time chat infrastructure for a next-generation social super app (short video, live streaming, music challenges, game battles, e-commerce) , supporting 100K+ concurrent WebSocket connections
• Wrote the gift monetization money-path: atomic multi-leg transfers with 3-layer idempotency, effective-dated revenue-share policies, and exact zero-sum split between recipient, sender, and platform.
• Built an AI-powered vision classification pipeline for automatic post categorization, integrating Anthropic Claude Vision API and self-hosted local LLMs (Anthropic-compatible shim), processing ~360K posts across a distributed GPU fleet.
• Built distributed batch infrastructure with claim-based self-balancing backfill and transactional outbox for guaranteed event delivery, running as K8s CronJobs, workers, and one-off jobs.
• Deployed and operated services on Kubernetes (GKE): Helm releases, Deployments, CronJobs, workers, backfills; day-to-day operations via kubectl (port-forwards for E2E and DB access, inspecting pods, reading env vars and secrets, creating and deleting pods).
• Provisioned and managed GCP infrastructure as code with Terraform: Pub/Sub topics and subscriptions, IAM bindings, and service accounts across dev/staging/prod environments.
• Integrated observability across services: Prometheus metrics, OpenTelemetry tracing, SigNoz dashboards, and alerts
