We can have an online sorting tool which can sort given words (or sentences) in ascending. descending, and reverse order on the basis of lexicographical or length basis.
Explain the possible use cases for the feature
Useful when you need a quick sorted list of something.
Hi @dlford, I'd like to give Hacktoberfest a shot this year and this project looks like it has some great feature ideas that I could implement without too much trouble. I forked the repo already and when I ran npm install, there were some vulnerabilities. Are you ok with a PR bumping some package versions? Do you want to include it in this PR or make a separate one?
Hi @wesleyhitson, Please create a new issue for the package updates, and if you'd like to work on any issue please comment on it to get it assigned to you. Thanks!

@TechSpiritSS cool, I'm on board, here's a good example of some options / controls to be implemented https://www.gillmeister-software.com/online-tools/text/sort-list.aspx

@TechSpiritSS would this tool support comma separated and new line separated lists? Maybe that could be a control option, maybe add semicolon too?

Working on this

:/ I am having some trouble in sorting with separator as new line, rest all are working great.
dlford commentedon Oct 6, 2022
No worries, you can PR as is and I'll create an issue for the newline separator
TechSpiritSS commentedon Oct 6, 2022
in that case, let me create test cases for remaining separators and look for bug.

hey @TechSpiritSS, are you still working on this?
