[FEATURE]:Built-in IM & Repo Wiki for cloud large-scale enterprise deployment #32

Closed as not planned

Description

@bearcubs

Feature hasn't been suggested before.

  • I have verified this feature I'm about to request hasn't been suggested before.

Describe the enhancement you want to request

I recently found DeepAgent and appreciate its agent orchestration, sandbox and long context capabilities. My team intends to deploy it at scale on private cloud for R&D automation and LLM batch tasks.
Key Missing Collaboration Modules for Enterprise Cloud Deployment

  • No native IM system
Lacks isolated team chat, real-time agent task alerts, human intervention channels and RBAC message history.
  • No integrated Git repo + Wiki knowledge base
Cannot auto-sync tuning logs, XID fault records and code changes to searchable versioned Wiki docs linked to project repositories.

Feature Requirements

  • Built-in IM
Team-isolated chats, live agent log push, persistent searchable messages with unified RBAC.
  • All-in-one Repo & Wiki
Git integration, markdown versioned Wiki, auto-archive agent execution records, cross-link docs and code files.
  • Cloud adaptation
All components support distributed horizontal scaling and consistent permission control.

Lastly:Superb feature! The wish feature works great, and it would be even better if integrated with repo & wiki modules.

Thanks for the detailed and well-thought-out proposal! We're really glad to hear that DeepAgent is proving useful for your R&D automation and batch LLM workloads, and we truly appreciate the time you took to outline these enterprise‑grade collaboration gaps.

You're absolutely right – native IM, integrated Git + Wiki, and cloud‑native scalability are key pieces for large‑scale private cloud deployment. The good news is that we've already been working on a major evolution along these lines.

    Here's our roadmap:

    • Target release: All the features you mentioned (team‑isolated IM, persistent searchable messaging with RBAC, Git integration, versioned Wiki, auto‑archived execution logs, cross‑linking between docs and code, and horizontal scaling with consistent permissions) are planned for v4.0 Core, which will be aligned with Desktop v1.3 and Server v1.0.

    • Incremental roll‑out: Starting from the current v3.8.1 Core, we'll begin delivering some of these modules incrementally. You can expect early previews of the Wiki‑Repo integration and the IM foundation in upcoming minor releases, with full capabilities landing in v4.0.

We'll keep the community posted as each piece becomes available – watch this space (and our release notes) for updates. And thank you again for the kind words about the existing features; your encouragement means a lot to the team!

Stay tuned – we're excited to bring this to life. 🚀

Wiki – already implemented. It supports versioned Markdown, repo linking, and auto‑archiving of execution logs.

IM – the backend ports/APIs are available, but the full collaboration suite (team chat, real‑time alerts, RBAC message history) is Enterprise‑only and not included in the Desktop version.

For private cloud deployments that need horizontal scaling, custom RBAC, and deep Git+Wiki+IM integration, please reach out to us at Business@deepagent.ltd – we offer tailored enterprise plans.

Let us know if you have further questions!
