Description

@jgmdev

Instead of using a personal github user account with 1 single repo, why not an organization as proposed here: xaxaxa/workspace#5 it would be more organized...

    By the way with an organization you can even add xaxaxa as admin in case he decides to keep contributing to the project

    Ok, cool. Let's start with our own version of cpoll_cppspx.
    Noted with the first one and two... but as for organization, we'll keep it simple here first, will expand on them once the project has more traction.

    I don't use redis so no knowledge on that.

    As you can see here https://github.com/TechEmpower/FrameworkBenchmarks/blob/master/frameworks/C%2B%2B/cpoll_cppsp/www/db_pg_async <%! %> is used to pass parameters to the compiler I guess in your case it would be something like <%!-lredis%><%!-I/usr/include/redis%> where <%!-lredis%> tells the compiler to link your .cppsp page to the redis library and <%!-I/usr/include/redis%> tells the compiler where to find the redis header files.

    It seems xaxaxa isn't hosting the project documentation anymore, so a good start for this fork would be writing documentation.

    a little more traction and we'll convert this into an organization and will assign administrative rights. just tried, a bit troublesome to convert to organization. will do so when we have more traction.

    Actually if you convert it to an organization I could help separating the project into different repos:

    • cpoll
    • cppsp
    • cppsp_server
    • socketsd

    and link cpoll, cppsp_server and socketsd to cppsp. The sooner the cppsp account is converted to an organization the better.
