Source archives omit schema and translation sources #604
The project’s .gitattributes marks the schema XML and several translation sources as export-ignore. I assume the intention was to exclude them from the installation bundle, but this also removes them from generated source archives.
Distribution packagers need these files to rebuild the extension. As a result, this currently requires manually generating an archive from a Git checkout with export-ignore disabled.
Could these exclusions move to the installation-bundle workflow? Please note that keeping source archives complete while filtering installation bundles themselves is a common practice among extensions. Vitals appears to be an outlier here.
