   Not saying it isn't happening, but I haven't heard of this issue since the first year of development. This extension has many downloads and no one else is chiming in...

   I think I may be experiencing this issue. I'm using Debian Sid with Gnome 48.

   I let my computer log out (what is called Automatic Screen Black in the settings, suspend is not necessary), and while waking, my secondary display stays black, and Gnome freezes up on my second display. It is sometimes fixed by switching to a different TTY and waiting for a while.

   I'm unsure whether this is related to Vitals, but in journalctl, vitals is mentioned.

   I have been experiencing the exact same issue on EndeavourOS since the installation of this extension. The issue only fixed by disabling vitals! This extension is really helpful and easy to use. Please investigate this issue if possible.
