This adds an LG webOS TV version of CCloud, set up the same way as the other platforms: a platform folder, a build job in the release workflow, an install guide, and README entries.

What's included

  • webos/app: a remote-friendly TV app. Flutter doesn't target webOS, so it's a small HTML/CSS/JS app with no build step and no dependencies.
    • Same API: the endpoints from lib/src/repositories, with the same fallback from server-hi-speed-iran.info to hostinnegar.com and windowsdiba.info.
    • Screens: Home (built from the first rows), Movies and Series (genre and sort filters, infinite scroll), Search, Favorites, Countries and Settings.
    • Details page: sources for movies; seasons and episodes for series.
    • Player:
      • plays MP4 and MKV with the TV's own media pipeline;
      • resumes where you stopped;
      • switches quality (also with the Yellow key);
      • shows audio and subtitle track buttons when a file has several tracks;
      • has a next-episode button.
    • Persian, right-to-left UI, like the desktop app. Arrow keys and OK use spatial navigation, and the Magic Remote pointer works too.
    • Older TVs: written without flex gap, inset, AbortController and similar newer features, so it can run on older webOS versions.
  • .github/workflows/build.yaml: a new build-webos job.
    • It installs @webos-tools/cli and sets appinfo.json's version from pubspec.yaml.
    • It builds CCloud-webos.ipk and attaches it to the release, with a download badge in the release notes.
  • assets/WEBOS_INSTALL.md: install steps (Developer Mode, ares-install, extending the Developer Mode session).
  • webos/README.md: how the TV code maps to the desktop repositories, and how to build it.
  • README.md: lists LG webOS TVs among the platforms and links the guide.

Notes

  • Live TV is not included. The TVGarden channel list that the desktop app uses currently returns 404.
  • Most video hosts only accept Iranian IPs. If a video doesn't start within 25 seconds, the player shows a message and focuses the Quality button so you can pick another link.

Testing

  • webOS TV 26 simulator:
    • Home rows, Movies with genre and sort filters, Search, and a series' seasons and episodes all work.
    • MP4 playback works.
    • The unreachable-host message appears as expected.
  • LG TV (webOS 25): installed with ares-install.
  • Packaging: ares-package webos/app succeeds locally.
  • Not tested: the new CI job, because the workflow only runs on tags or a manual dispatch.

🤖 Generated with Claude Code

A remote-friendly TV version of CCloud in webos/, built as a small web app
(Flutter does not target webOS). It uses the same API and helper-server
fallback as the desktop repositories, with Home, Movies, Series, Search,
Favorites, Countries and Settings, seasons/episodes, resume and quality
switching.

The release workflow gets a build-webos job that packages
CCloud-webos.ipk with @webos-tools/cli, using the version from
pubspec.yaml. Install steps are in assets/WEBOS_INSTALL.md.
