Tests cover guarded and permitted imports, rule behavior, and configuration inheritance. Package lint instructions describe how to run the guards, and an empty Changesets frontmatter file is added. The API keys table now keeps its query state in the controller, passes the query to the model hook, and fetches page 1 after debounced search input. Priority: ⬇️ Low Estimated code review effort: 3 (Moderate) | ~25 minutes Merge Risk: 🔵 Low · up to The new lint boundary can be bypassed by aliased React state hooks in models; fix the guard before relying on it. 🚥 Pre-merge checks | ✅ 4 | ❌ 1❌ Failed checks (1 warning)

that binding if that matches the rule’s existing approach. Preserve detection

🎯 Functional Correctness | 🟡 Minor | ⚡ Quick win
Detect state hooks through a local React alias.
In a model, import React from 'react'; const R = React; R.useState(0); produces no diagnostic. The alias reference has a VariableDeclarator parent with an identifier on the left, so neither check reports it. Follow local aliases of the default React binding, or reject aliasing that binding. The named-import restriction does not cover this default import. (eslint.org)
As per coding guidelines, “No local UI state. What is open and what is in flight belong to the controller.”

Description
Stacked on #10122 (
carp/mosaic-strict-rules).Enforce Mosaic's model, controller, and view import boundaries in ESLint so misplaced dependencies fail locally and in CI.
useMessages()instead of importing message catalog values directly, preserving customer localization and overrides. This covers static imports and dynamic imports with literal paths.useStateoruseReducer, access them through a default React import, or destructure them from that import; interaction state belongs in controllers.Type-only imports and shared utilities remain allowed. The existing repository import restrictions remain in effect. The guards and their regression tests live in
packages/mosaic/eslint/. Mosaic's local ESLint config inherits the shared repository rules and loads the guards. Mosaic's existing test setup runs the regression tests.Checklist
