Status bar covers mini-player playback control after reload #453

Closed

Description

@chhoumann

The status bar can cover the mini-player play/pause button after Obsidian reloads with an episode note open. This blocks the real mouse click in the existing reload journey.

Reproduced twice with PRIV4 and once with an independently built origin/master 7bb28d3 bundle, in the same isolated Obsidian 1.14.4 Linux/Xvfb vault. PRIV4 changes no UI code. The baseline build measured 312,950 raw bytes / 99,412 gzip bytes.

Command, after building the relevant revision:

fnm exec --using 22 -- node scripts/obsidian-e2e.mjs test journey-shell -t 'a reload restores'

The test is a reload restores the last page and the episode paused where it stopped, in the mini player, at tests/e2e/journey-shell.test.ts:171. It reports:

Timed out waiting for mini player play/pause visible and still after 10000ms.
Last samples: {"state":"covered","detail":"<div class=\"status-bar\"><div class=\"status-bar-item plugin-properties mod-clickable\">9 properties</div></div>"}

The full PRIV4 runtime run passed the other 122 tests, including all privacy and persistence tests. Do not force-click the covered control in the harness: the real UI must leave it reachable. Please account for Obsidian's status bar when placing the mini-player controls.
