[bug]can’t find an “add” button when searching for podcasts in iPad #109
Hi Christian,
It doesn't work to press long either. I'm not sure if it's a mistake on my part. I tried several times, but it didn’t work.
It is very useful.
Re-checked on current master (07b2812, PodNotes 2.20.2) in Obsidian 1.13.7 on desktop Linux, in an isolated test vault. Checked with Obsidian's mobile (tablet) emulation, not on an iPad.
Steps: Settings > PodNotes, entered a feed in Search Podcasts.
Result: fixed. The result card shows a labelled "Add" button (68x44 px tap target) instead of a bare icon.
Verified PodNotes 2.21.1 in real Obsidian 1.14.4 on an Android 14 x86_64 Pixel 6 emulator.
Android phone verdict: passed. I entered https://lexfridman.com/feed/podcast/ in podcast search and tapped the visible Add button. It changed to Remove, and savedFeeds persisted Lex Fridman Podcast.
The original iPadOS report remains unverified. Tablet resizing proved unstable on this host, so this evidence covers the phone layout. Persisted subscription evidence.
