Summary

  • Adds a dedicated, interactive "Support boxlore" screen accessible from Settings with tactical 3D power cell artifacts, particle effects, and interactive lore inspection.
  • Instruments end-to-end PostHog telemetry (support_page_viewed, support_tier_toggled, support_donate_clicked) and integrates with analytics glossary and emission coverage guards.

Motivation

Provide listeners with a tactile, gamified interface to support independent boxlore development, while capturing clear telemetry on tier engagement, lore reading, and donation intent.

What changed

  • :feature:settings:
    • Created SupportDevelopmentPage.kt and modular helper SupportAtmosphere.kt (< 1,000 lines) with horizontal pager, tactical HUD reticle, stalinist backdrops, and tap-to-inspect lore story mode.
    • Updated SupportCtaSection.kt and SupportDeployButton with dynamic tier color schemes and donate action dispatching.
    • Linked "Support boxlore" action from Settings top bar.
  • :core:analytics:
    • Registered SUPPORT_EVENTS (support_page_viewed, support_tier_toggled, support_donate_clicked) in AnalyticsGlossary.kt and PHASE_A_UNION_B.
    • Implemented event tracking helpers in LibraryAnalyticsTracks.kt with dual-emission of canonical settings_interaction.
    • Exposed facades in AnalyticsHelper.kt.
  • Documentation & Guard Parity:
    • Added canonical rows to docs/analytics/event_glossary.csv and docs/analytics/glossary_emission_coverage.csv.
    • Documented events in docs/ANALYTICS_EVENT_GLOSSARY.md.
    • Verified parity via GlossaryCoverageGuardTest and emission via GlossaryAllEventsEmissionTest.

Behavior & compatibility

  • User-visible behavior: Navigating to Settings -> Support boxlore opens the interactive artifact carousel. Tapping an artifact reveals its lore story; tapping again restores the artifact view. Tapping the deploy button initiates the support action.
  • Compatibility: Purely additive UI and telemetry. No database schema or SharedPreferences contracts altered.

📝 Summary

Summary by CodeRabbit

  • New Features
    • Added a “Support boxlore” page with five selectable contribution tiers, animated visuals, tier details, and a contribution button.
    • The page can show listening-hour milestones when enough listening data is available.
  • Bug Fixes
    • Bottom navigation, the player sheet, and the sleep-timer popup are hidden while the support page is open.
    • Settings navigation now recognizes support page links.

Walkthrough

Settings gains a five-tier support page with animated content, support interaction analytics, and listening-hours copy. The page is accessible from the Settings hub. The app hides selected player controls while the page is active.

- Around line 77-88: Update the listening-hours calculation in the
totalListeningHoursFlow block to address the review issue. The comment only
requests a README change unrelated to this code, so no implementation change can
be safely identified from the diff.
- Around line 77-88: Update the `totalListeningHoursFlow` mapping to use
`summary.totalConsumedMs` only when `summary.hasEnoughData` is true, and
otherwise emit zero so `SupportDevelopmentPage` does not show personalized
listening copy based on estimated data.

Review comments at
@core/analytics/src/main/java/cx/aswin/boxlore/core/analytics/LibraryAnalyticsTracks.kt:
- Around line 476-484: Update the settings_interaction mirror events in
trackSupportTierToggled and trackSupportDonateClicked to use
"support_development" as the stable setting_key, put the tier title in value,
and remove the undocumented amount property.

Review comments at @feature/settings/README.md:
- Around line 63-66: Update the Purpose paragraph in the README to include
Support among the feature’s owned pages, reflecting the addition of
SupportDevelopmentPage. Leave the internal file tree and test listings
unchanged.

Review comments at
@feature/settings/src/main/java/cx/aswin/boxlore/feature/settings/pages/SupportDevelopmentPage.kt:
- Line 298: Key the isStoryMode state in SupportArtifactStage to
pagerState.currentPage, or clear it when that page changes, so switching tiers
resets lore mode and each tier opens in its default mode.
- Around line 774-782: Update SupportMissionCard and getSupportMissionText so
the tested mission copy comes from the same five-hour AnnotatedString builder
used by the rendered card; return the builder’s text from getSupportMissionText
and preserve the bold listening-hours span. Add a rendered-card assertion if the
card continues to build its copy separately.
- Around line 233-244: Update the onDonateClick callback in
SupportDevelopmentPage to retain AnalyticsHelper.trackSupportDonateClicked and
then route to the repository’s existing contribution destination, reusing its
established integration rather than inventing a new payment flow.

Review comments at
@feature/settings/src/main/java/cx/aswin/boxlore/feature/settings/pages/SupportTierPicker.kt:
- Line 135: Replace the plain clickable modifier on the tier pill with
selectable semantics using its isSelected state, onSelect callback, and Role.Tab
so assistive technology announces the selected tier.
