All three issues describe the same root cause: improper handling of Ctrl+C/exit on Windows leading to raw terminal escape sequences being printed after exiting OpenCode.
Feel free to ignore if your specific case differs from these existing issues.
I can confirm that for linux opencode accessed via SSH from windows terminal app, this is still a problem when the session disconnect abnormally (e.g. connection issue, laptop/desktop auto-sleep, etc). Opencode version 1.4.3. Once bugged, the random charaters appear when moving the cursor. The solution to exit the bugged state is to re-open opencode and exit using /exit.

Are you sure that happens with
/exit? Ctrl+c is a known issue on windows.briansemrau commentedon Feb 22, 2026
I also experience this issue. Here is an example of what I am seeing after
/exitin version 1.2.10:alMubarmij commentedon Feb 26, 2026
