Copy shows copied popup but clipboard remains unchanged on Linux terminal

Copy feedback appears to succeed, but nothing is actually copied to the clipboard.

What happens

When using OpenCode in this terminal/OS, triggering copy briefly shows the "copied" popup/toast, but the clipboard contents do not change. After the popup disappears, pasting elsewhere does not paste the copied text.

This makes copying from OpenCode effectively unusable.

Expected behavior

When the "copied" popup appears, the selected/generated text should be available in the system clipboard and paste correctly into other apps/terminals.

Notes

The UI feedback makes it look like copy succeeded, but the clipboard remains unchanged. It would help if OpenCode either used the correct clipboard backend for this environment or surfaced an error when clipboard integration fails.

I can reproduce this reliably with OpenCode 1.14.30: the UI shows “Copied”, but the system clipboard remains unchanged.
This happens in browser‑based terminals (e.g. JupyterHub / code‑server, xterm.js), where clipboard writes are not available; it would be helpful to either detect this and suppress the success toast or provide a clear fallback/warning.

I too see the problem - I would like to know once this is fixed.

Seems that this is working in 1.14.6 it's broken in 1.14.30. Is it possible to downgrade it ?

I experience the same issue on Linux Ubuntu terminal. Says copied to clipboard but it isn't. However, /export works and is a great work around. If I want to copy the last response, I export the session to markdown and copy from the markdown file.

opencode people are not good at using ai properly fixing issues and reviewing prs
and their qa process is "it works for me on my mac"

My workaround in KDE Konsole: I use Shift+mouse to select the text, right mouse button to copy.
