Terminal Does not properly auto-recover after restarting Desktop

Description

When a you leave terminals open and restart the desktop app, those terminals dont automatically work. You have to close them and open new terminals to get them to work.

Steps to reproduce

1. Open the desktop app, and open some terminals
2. Close the app, and reopen
3. Notice the terminal is unresponsive and never recover
