Please provide us with the following information:

  1. OS? Windows 7, 8 or 10. Linux (which distribution). Mac OSX (Yosemite? El Capitan?)
    OS X El Apitan
  2. Versions. Please run ng --version. If there's nothing outputted, please run
    in a Terminal: node --version and paste the result here:

  1. Repro steps. Was this an app that wasn't created using the CLI? What change did you
    do on your code? etc.

ng new demo then attempt to e.g. shrinkwrap your project via npm shrinkwrap

  1. The log given by the failure. Normally this include a stack trace and some

    Facing the same problem:

    angular-cli: 1.0.0-beta.15
node: 6.5.0
os: win32 x64
npm 3.10.8

    Create a new ng2 app:

    • ng new testapp
    • cd testapp
    • npm list => npm ERR! peer dep missing: @angular/common@2.0.1, required by @angular/platform-server@2.0.1

    Install an additional package, e.g. express:

    npm install express

    i got an npm script like this: "lock": "npm prune --production; npm shrinkwrap; npm i; npm link angular-cli"

    this will delete all devDependencies, do shrinkwrap, then reinstall all devDependencies. This way shrinkwrap wont break on a devDependency

    note, if u name the npm script shrinkwrap it will do an infinite loop :P
