   $ npm remove -g angular-cli
   $ npm cache clean
   $ npm install -g angular-cli
   

   That should fix it.

   Strange that with beta.8 installed, I'm still seeing this output:

   $ sudo npm install angular-cli@latest -g
   npm WARN deprecated minimatch@2.0.10: Please update to minimatch 3.0.2 or higher to avoid a RegExp DoS issue
   /opt/local/bin/ng -> /opt/local/lib/node_modules/angular-cli/bin/ng
   /opt/local/lib
   `-- angular-cli@1.0.0-beta.8 
   
   $ ng --version
   angular-cli: 1.0.0-beta.6
   node: 4.4.3
   os: darwin x64
   

   Oh that's because I was inside of an app that had beta.6 installed.

   Doing a ng new beta8App --mobile gave me an error:

   The package @angular/core@2.0.0-rc.3 does not satisfy its siblings' peerDependencies requirements!

   Then cd'ing into the new app and doing ng --version gave me:

   $ ng --version

   To fix this, I had to do another npm i in that new ng CLI app after cd'ing into it, then I finally got:

   $ ng --version
   angular-cli: 1.0.0-beta.8
   node: 4.4.3
   os: darwin x64

   getting this following error

   Uninstall node
   Delete Angular folder from Appdata>>Roaming>>...

   • restart
   • nstall node from the stable version
   • npm i
   • npm -g update npm
   • npm uninstall -g @angular/cli angular/cli
   • npm cache clean
   • npm install -g @angular/cli
