fetch chain_id from any connected wallet and regarding eth_sendTransaction method

in my app i am always getting chain id of 1 even though i am connected to ropsten network which is 4 and i was using session.walletInfo.chainid in that i am getting always 1 and also eth_sendTransaction not working with metamask
