Current configuration
Bundled execution defaults in OrchestrateSettings include gpt-5.6-sol and claude-opus-5. Astra (gpt-6-astra) and Fable are separate decision-collaboration profiles. The workflow currently routes implementation and substantial evidence gathering to execution models; Astra's guidance concentrates on peer judgment and verification advice.
Requested change
Replace the bundled Sol execution entries with the intended GPT-6 model at low reasoning effort, and give Astra a more explicit Computer Use responsibility. This request does not establish a public/provider model identifier: confirm the exact selectable GPT-6 execution ID against the connected provider catalog before editing defaults. Do not silently equate the execution model with the separate Astra collaboration profile.
Scope
- Update fresh-profile defaults, restore-default behavior, bundled descriptions and any Sol-specific routing guidance to agree with the new execution baseline.
- Define migration for existing untouched bundled defaults while preserving user-edited profiles, efforts and custom endpoints. The memo targets Sol replacements, not removal of all other execution providers.
- Preserve catalog-driven effort validation and report a useful unavailable-model state if the requested model or low effort is unsupported.
- Define Astra's Computer Use ownership concretely: when it should directly inspect or operate the UI, how that work is invoked, and what observations support acceptance. Reconcile this with the current collaboration-versus-execution separation so the guidance does not assign a responsibility while forbidding the required tools/work.
- Keep fast mode independently configured; low reasoning effort does not imply fast mode.
Acceptance criteria
Fresh settings and restored defaults select the agreed GPT-6 execution profile at low effort. Migration preserves explicit customization. The dispatched request uses the expected model and effort, and catalog mismatch has an explicit outcome. A representative UI task demonstrates Astra's Computer Use responsibility and evidence handoff without contradictory routing instructions. Update the design contract and relevant localized settings copy.
