Consider creating a release and getting a DOI so that the software is citable

The new NASA Public Access Plan has a new requirement being considered

• Software released independently from the peer-reviewed manuscript must be assigned a Unique Digital Object Identifier (DOI) to enable preservation, discovery, and citation of the software.

Zenodo is a great and easy place to create DOIs for GitHub repositories.
