About

I'm SS-YYC, a developer interested in software engineering, performance optimization, and open-source development.

I enjoy taking ideas from concept to implementation, figuring out how things work under the hood, and making software faster, lighter, and more maintainable.

My primary project is Kodo, a lightweight, modular, open-source IDE built around a simple principle:

Great software doesn't need unnecessary complexity.

When I'm not coding, you'll probably find me playing badminton, following motorsports (F1!), exploring new places, or playing simulation and open-world games.

Featured Project

Kodo - Code fast. Stay light.

A lightweight, cross-platform IDE designed to provide a focused development experience without unnecessary overhead.

What I work on:

  • ⚡ Performance engineering - profiling, reducing allocations, and optimizing execution paths.
  • 🧩 Modular architecture - a clean core with extensible functionality.
  • 🛠️ Developer tooling - improving the editing experience and integrating development tools.
  • 🐧 Cross-platform development - building for Windows and Linux.
  • 🌐 Open source - collaborating with contributors and growing a developer community.

Technology: C# · .NET · Avalonia UI

I develop Kodo alongside KerbalMissile.
