ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE permission #1

Open

Description

@Quantum-Future

Hello, useful app !
The description says: "SplitSmart has no accounts, no cloud sync, and no internet permission", but it declares the ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE permission.
Maybe the culprit is some dependency. Can you check and eliminate it?

    You can see that "view network connections" permission is listed and used.

    Request to remove the permission if not necessary, see Removing Unwanted Manifest Permissions With tools:node

    I don't understand your response.

    "View Network Connections" is the same as "Access_Network_State" permission and yes, I saw your app uses it, but I don't understand WHY it uses it.
    If the app is designed to be a local, offline app, then it shouldn't need this permission. That's why I asked you to remove this permission.

    I'm not the developer 😉, only notified to the dev how to remove it.
