End-of-semester group project for the Digital Fabrication course (ID1054, CAD Modelling) at IIT Hyderabad. We modelled two objects in Solid Edge, sliced them in Ultimaker Cura and 3D-printed them.
| Model | Why we chose it |
|---|---|
| New Parliament Building, New Delhi (replica) | Distinct, modern geometry with a truncated triangular layout |
| The Master Sword (The Legend of Zelda) | A striking design that made a fun modelling and printing challenge |
- Both models printed together: 10 h 5 min, about 57 g of material.
- The two models were spaced apart in Cura to avoid nozzle stringing and supports merging.
Details, slicing settings and photos are in the presentation.
