Summary

Fixes #28. The pinned yt-dlp commit (2024.08.06) fails with HTTP 400 when downloading from YouTube; yt-dlp requires frequent updates to keep working with YouTube, so pinning to a single commit breaks over time.

Changes

Verification

  • Confirmed the pinned commit a065086 is the 2024.08.06 release; latest is 2026.08.19
  • Installed the updated requirement line in a clean venv: yt-dlp --version → 2026.08.19
  • Live YouTube download not tested from my network (YouTube unreachable); the 400 fix evidence is from [BUG] static yt-dlp version in requirements.txt #28
