Description:
Create a GitHub Actions workflow (backend.yml) to automate the backend build and deployment process. The workflow should:

  • Run npm ci for clean dependency install
  • Run npm test to ensure tests pass
  • Run npm prune --production to remove dev dependencies
  • Package the backend as a ZIP file
  • Deploy the ZIP to AWS Lambda using update-function-code

Acceptance Criteria:

  • A new Lambda version is active after each deploy
  • End-to-end test (curl) returns HTTP 200
