Description:
Configure API Gateway to enable rate limiting (e.g., 50 requests per second, burst up to 100 for development) and set up CORS to allow requests from the frontend.

  • Ensure CORS preflight requests are handled correctly.
  • Implement throttling to prevent brute-force attacks.

Acceptance Criteria:

  • CORS preflight requests work as expected.
  • Brute-force or excessive requests are blocked by throttling/rate limiting.
