The brainworm crisis stalls. See thesesteambugfix thread posts. The branch we're working on this in is brainworm-dev-- this is a major redesign and it is still in progress, but it has already come a long way.
I have committed a workaround to stable that removes the brainworm event entirely. We should think about whether we want to remove brainworm from beta as well while the brainworm refactor is in progress.
