full 40-character commit SHA, with the original tag preserved as a
comment, e.g.

Tags and branches are mutable; commit SHAs are not. Pinning to a SHA
closes a supply-chain vector where a compromised action could replace
what runs in CI without changing the tag we reference.

Replaces mutable version tags on every third-party and MetaMask
uses:reference in.github/workflows/with full 40-character commit SHAs, keeping the original tag in a# vXcomment. Coverage spans build/lint/test, main (workflow lint, release detection), create-release-pr, publish-release (artifacts, npm dry-run/publish, checkout), publish-docs, and security-code-scanner.Behavior and action versions are intended to stay the same (strict pin via pinact); the change is supply-chain hardening so CI cannot silently run different code if a tag is moved.
