Changes
SQLite.table(name, { columns, primaryKey, indexes, tenantColumn }) declares a table with its DDL. The value is still a query Table, the same shape as PG.table.
SQLite.column(type, { name, default, defaultExpr, unique }), SQLite.index(name, on), SQLite.uniqueIndex(name, on). Index keys take column names or a DSL callback for expressions.
A column is NOT NULL unless its type is nullable(...). One primary key column is written inline; several become PRIMARY KEY (a, b). unique: true writes an inline UNIQUE constraint, as drizzle-kit 1.0 does; its name (<table>_<column>_unique by default) is kept in a SqliteUniqueEntity, since SQLite stores none.
Column types declare their storage type: text, timestamp, json → text; integer, boolean → integer; real; blob. A custom(sql, schema) type declares its own sql (for example numeric).
New SQLite entities in /schema: SqliteTableEntity, SqliteColumnEntity, SqliteIndexEntity, SqliteUniqueEntity, SqliteSchemaEntity. sqliteEntitiesOf(tables) validates a schema (identifiers, sqlite_ prefix, unknown or nullable key columns, default with defaultExpr, table/index name collisions) and returns sorted entities. renderSqliteSchema writes CREATE TABLE IF NOT EXISTS and CREATE [UNIQUE] INDEX IF NOT EXISTS.
The query-only forms stay: table(name, columns, options?) (unchanged) and table(name, { external: true, columns }).
Shared code: the DDL expression renderer (renderExpr / renderKeyParts) moved from pg-define.ts to schema/ddl-expr.ts and takes a dialect. Postgres uses it with postgresDialect; its output does not change.
Docs: docs/sqlite.md (new "Declare a table with its DDL" section; "no migrations yet" stays), docs/reference.md export catalog, README lines, and a minor changeset.
Validation
bun install --frozen-lockfile: ok.
bun run build: ok.
bun run typecheck: ok (src and tests, including new sqlite.test-d.ts cases).
bun run test with a local ClickHouse 26.8.2.7 in Docker (EFFECT_ORM_CLICKHOUSE_URL set): 63 files, 1057 tests passed, 0 skipped. Doc citations ok (26 files), export catalog ok (287 /clickhouse, 205 /postgres, 167 /sqlite), doc examples ok (25 files).
bun scripts/check-package.ts: tarball ESM and CommonJS consumers ok; the ESM consumer now renders SQLite DDL from the packed build.
src/sqlite/ddl.test.ts runs on real SQLite (@effect/sql-sqlite-node, :memory:). It applies our DDL and drizzle-kit's SQL for the same tables to two databases and compares PRAGMA table_info, index_list and index_xinfo. Fixtures: a 15-column short_link table (text primary key, unique index, index), against drizzle-kit 0.31.11 exactly and 1.0.0-rc.5 apart from one column; and a membership table (composite key, literal and expression defaults, a unique column, real/blob/numeric, a two-column index), against drizzle-kit 1.0.0-rc.5 exactly.
Scope and limits
No diff, snapshot envelope, migration files, migrate runner or kit dialect for SQLite. The entities are plain Schema data so a later diff can use them. Snapshot and SchemaDialect do not include sqlite yet; entityKey / sortEntities accept SQLite entities.
Not declared yet: WITHOUT ROWID, STRICT, AUTOINCREMENT, partial indexes, foreign keys, CHECK, collations.
Primary keys are table-level only (primaryKey: [...]), as in PG.table. SQLite keeps no primary key name, so there is no name option.
An INTEGER PRIMARY KEY column is a rowid alias, but the insert type still requires it unless it has a default.
A boolean default is written true / false, as drizzle-kit writes it, not 1 / 0.
drizzle-kit 1.0 drops NOT NULL from a primary key column ("id" text PRIMARY KEY), so SQLite accepts a NULL key there. This entry keeps NOT NULL; that is the one PRAGMA difference from drizzle-kit 1.0.

Release note contradicts the second changeset.
Line 7 and Line 8 say table is a query schema only and that SQLite DDL is not implemented. .changeset/sqlite-table-ddl.md in this stack adds SQLite.table(name, { columns, primaryKey, indexes }) with DDL. If both changesets ship in one release, the changelog states both that DDL exists and that it does not.
Drop the DDL claim from this note. Keep the statement that migration generation is not implemented.

Thanks! Review fixes are in #120. It contains your commits unchanged, stacked on #119, because GitHub won't let maintainers push to an organization-owned fork. sqliteEntitiesOf now also catches four definitions that rendered and then failed in SQLite: duplicate column names compared without case, a column repeated in a primary key or index, a defaultExpr that reads a column, and default: undefined (which made the column optional on insert with no DEFAULT). Feel free to pull the commit here, or we'll land #120.
…red key checks
- SQLite.timestampNow is a defaultExpr in the text form a timestamp
column compares with. A timestamp column refuses CURRENT_TIMESTAMP,
datetime('now') and the like as a defaultExpr: they write another form
(no milliseconds), which compares as earlier than the same instant.
- The duplicate-column-name and repeated-key checks move to problems.ts
and run for Postgres too, which had the same gap ("column specified
more than once" at run time). SQLite compares names without case.
- The first changeset no longer says SQLite DDL is not implemented
(CodeRabbit on #50).

* feat(sqlite): table DDL with columns, primary key and indexes
* feat(sqlite): column defaults, unique columns and composite primary keys
* test(sqlite): DDL definition problems, expression keys and query-only tables
* docs(sqlite): document table DDL and check it from the packed tarball
* docs: mention SQLite table DDL in the README and docs index
* feat(sqlite): write unique columns as UNIQUE constraints, as drizzle-kit 1.0 does
* fix(sqlite): refuse table definitions SQLite would only reject at run time
sqliteEntitiesOf exists to catch a bad definition before SQLite runs it.
It now also reports:
- two columns with the same SQL name, compared without case as SQLite
does (`Id` and `id`, or a `name:` that repeats another key);
- a column listed twice in a primary key or an index;
- a defaultExpr that reads a column (SQLite: "default value of column
is not constant");
- `default: undefined` or `defaultExpr: undefined`, which made the column
optional on insert while writing no DEFAULT, so the insert failed on
NOT NULL. `column()` now refuses it in the type too.

* fix(schema): timestampNow, refuse misordering timestamp defaults, shared key checks

(CodeRabbit on #50).

* fix(schema): the timestamp default guard covers DSL defaults and strftime formats
The guard only looked at string defaultExprs, and only at CURRENT_* and
datetime()-style calls. It now checks the rendered SQL of a DSL default
too, and refuses strftime with any format but the column's own
('%Y-%m-%d %H:%M:%f'), and julianday() (independent review).

* fix: drop the duplicated timestampNow from the merge
