Instagram doesn't work

Have noticed lately that embedding of Instagram links does not work:

I've seen that it's using InstaFix, which has been recently archived and there's already issues reported there of it not working anymore:

It's not this instance of InstaFix that is used. However, I'm aware that most reels fails to embed.

Some domains may be down/blocked/taken down due to other reasons or Instagram's actions, I honestly don't know. Other embed links like BlueSky, Twitter and others are working okay with no problems.

Unfortunately the used instance doesn't have any public page. But you can hover the links sent by the bot to check the used domain.

As said in the Discord server, vxinstagram doesn't support normal mode, so it won't be added. Feel Free to use it as a custom website tho

I tested both vxinstagram and uuinstagram with a bunch of the troublesome reels from these threads. They do work for some links, but they still miss quite a lot of videos, including several of the same edge cases that were failing in older InstaFix instances.

I’ve been working on a maintained fork and hosted it at https://www.instagram7.com/. Usage is just adding 7 after instagram in the URL. It keeps the normal preview mode, and I specifically fixed a few scraper, reel type, thumbnail and video fallback problems, so it currently handles noticeably more of the problematic links I tested.
