When regA and regB are equal, CF = 0 and CZ = 1 occurs, which, according to the ISA, activates the JLT. Therefore, the jump also occurs when there is equality; the name JLT is misleading.
When regA and regB are equal, CF = 0 and CZ = 1 occurs,
I assume, you meant CF = 0 and ZF = 1.
which, according to the ISA, activates the JLT.
JLT (Jump if less than) should only be active for SF != OF
JLE (Jump if less or equal) should trigger both on SF != OF or ZF = 1.
Therefore, the jump also occurs when there is equality; the name JLT is misleading.
Looking real quick at a reference, I only find: JL and JLE, which both are signed. Should not be confused with JA/JAE and JB/JBE which are the unsigned equivalents.
