Hi, I'm Gaurav

I'm a senior backend and DevOps engineer at Wow Labz. Since 2020 I've built APIs, message queues and real-time systems in Node.js and Python, and run them on AWS. Before that I founded LateralX, a no-code platform for AR and VR content, which was acquired.

Work

  • Karmeq. Buy, sell and gift stocks, including to minors through custodians. Backend, AWS setup and FINRA certification testing.
  • Risk IQ. Internal tool for Al Tamimi that finds the laws that apply to each client. It cut lawyers' work on legal registers by 95%. I led the team and ran the infrastructure.
  • Dyordex. Real-time crypto prices, charts, gainers and losers. I built the caching layer that got 90% of queries under 50 ms.
  • Believer Bot. Twitter bot for a Thums Up World Cup campaign that posted match updates in an AI-generated Shah Rukh Khan voice.
  • Internal tool creator. Builds internal tools for startups from a prompt, using architect, tech lead, developer and tester agents on the Claude Agent SDK.
