Description

Removes .github/workflows/action-dependabot-automerge.yml, which reached master through the repo-sync PR #4947.

The workflow approved Dependabot minor and patch PRs as github-actions[bot] and turned on auto-merge. That approval counts toward master's required review, so those updates would merge straight to master without going through develop. Dependency updates go back to manual review.

The template has been removed from dgibbs64/repo-sync (dgibbs64/repo-sync#18), so the next sync won't add it back. This also makes #4950 unnecessary.

Type of change

  • Bug fix (a change which fixes an issue).
  • New feature (a change which adds functionality).
  • New Server (new server added).
  • Refactor (restructures existing code).
  • Comment update (typo, spelling, explanation, examples, etc).
  • CI/workflow change only.

Dependabot minor/patch updates were auto-approved by github-actions[bot],
which satisfied master's required review and merged straight to master.
All dependency updates go back to manual review. The workflow has also
been removed from dgibbs64/repo-sync so it is not synced back.
