Builder element tool: periodic-table icon, and a proper drop-down #304
Description
From the 9.0.0 release test (Linux, 2026-10-12). Follow-up to #286. The element chip's arrow opens the periodic table at the mouse pointer, not below the button. Its icon should say what it does (a small periodic table, or a tooltip "Element selector"). A plain drop-down anchored to the button would be better than a floating window.

In 9.0.1 (564dfb9): the periodic table opens below the element button, and the button has a periodic-table icon and the tooltip "Element selector". Checked on Linux; the macOS and Windows path was not run.
