Hi, I'm Josué

I'm a Computer Science graduate from Dartmouth College, Class of 2026.

I build and research AI systems, especially in voice, language, agents, and products that move from research into the real world.

Akili — Building voice AI for languages that today's major AI systems still don't support. I'm currently working on speech recognition, speech generation, data infrastructure, and real-world deployments.
AI agents that follow the law — Previously worked on systems for making AI agents comply with laws and regulations, including building structured legal infrastructure across U.S. law.
AI products — I've built and shipped products across voice AI, language learning, legal AI, education, and agent infrastructure.

My research focuses on language technology under extreme data scarcity.

For my undergraduate thesis, I built machine translation and speech systems for Adja, a language with very little existing digital data.

Orphi — A voice-first language learning app for practicing unscripted conversations with an AI tutor.
Adja language technology — Built datasets and some of the first machine translation and speech systems for Adja.
Legal AI infrastructure — Worked on building a structured database of U.S. laws for AI agents operating in regulated environments.
Agents — Experimenting with autonomous agents, agent collaboration, computer use, and the infrastructure needed for agents to do useful work in the real world.
