What happened
There is an extreme delay when I clicked the plus icon to open a new tab on the top of the screen. The tab literally doesn't open for the next like five minutes and when it does it opens a bunch of them because I've been spamming it the whole time. Even when I tap it once and wait it never opens it's becoming incredibly frustrating to deal with that, since I have to sit there and wait doing nothing for the tab to open.
Steps to reproduce
On the macOS app if you click the plus icon to open a new tab, it doesn't open for an insanely long amount of time. As for the long wait time to start a session, you just need to type something in the new session and way and you can see that the session doesn't start for the nest 4-5 or doesn't start at all ever.

There's not really much to show here it's just I see the icon with the three dots indicating that it's loading. Either that or I just see waiting for the model for a very long period of time.
