Concurrent requests can both observe an available room. This authenticated Symfony API protects active reservations with PostgreSQL’s room-equality/tstzrange overlap exclusion constraint. Members create reservations, reschedule/cancel their own revisioned rows, and read bounded shared availability. Includes reviewed Doctrine migrations, pinned Composer lock, native Symfony validation/authentication, explicit UTC response DTOs, restricted runtime grants and verify-full PDO setup.
Validated natively on Linux ARM64 against ClickHouse Managed Postgres 18.6 with btree_gist 1.8: locked clean install/audit/lint/container compile and three tests/24 assertions; real simultaneous HTTP overlap201/409 plus independent direct SQL exclusion race; adjacency/equivalent offsets/different rooms; reschedule rollback, stale/foreign edits and owner-filtered locking; both constraint-consistent cancel/create outcomes; same-PHP-process manager recovery after23P01; 101-row bounded listing, actual certificate/name TLS negatives and server-group restart. The owned Cloud fixture is deleted and verified absent. No production scale claim, recurring calendar integration, automatic create idempotency or database tenant-isolation claim; full evidence and companion article remain local for review.
