Cannot Connect On Heltec ESP32 LoRa v3 #229
Description
I'm running a MySQL 8.2.4 DB on a Myphpadmin mariaDB server v10.4.28.
I have set up my bind address to 0.0.0.0, i have created a user with hostname %, i have set the right port and turned off all firewalls.
When testing on a python SQL client on another machine, it works fine, but when using the same credentials on my ESP32, it gets stuck on conn.connect(). The server log states "Aborted connection to db: "unconnected" user: "unauthenticated" host: "192.168.1.82" (This connection closed normally without authentication)
I'm not sure if it's the ESP32 that's causing issues, or the mixmatch of MariaDB and MySQL components, but it doesn't seem to work.

Hi. I will need to see your code for connecting to diagnose, but please be aware that this connector is not guaranteed to work with non-Oracle releases of MySQL.
The biggest issues are around the mysql_native password plugin. See the wiki for details and troubleshooting tips.
