Having to switch to the pan tool, and then switch back to the tool that was used before takes 2 more steps.
Describe the solution you'd like
If we can use Middle Mouse Button to click and drag to pan around, then once released it will go back to the previous tool, it would be faster.
Describe alternatives you've considered
I tried changing the shortcut X to Middle Mouse Button, but it doesn't work. And using the shortcut X still need me to use two hands, while using the Middle Mouse Button directly I don't need the other hand.
Additional context
Using Middle Mouse Button is the standard to pan around in most application. Like in Krita, Unity, Shotcut, Da Vinci Resolve, etc.
