Linked issues lived in a separate header menu, away from linked pull requests. The right panel now has one Linked items tab for both. Issue rows open their detail or let you remove the link. Existing PR stack and watch controls stay in the same panel.
The shared Link issue or pull request dialog shows the state, title, and author before linking. A pasted URL selects its kind; a bare number lets you choose. Duplicate links are disabled. GitLab work item URLs and
owner/repo#Nresolve through the correct local project. Extra path segments are rejected; supported Bitbucket title slugs remain valid. A host reply that is a pull request cannot be saved as an issue. Linear previews must match the pasted workspace and issue. Links keep their source project so opening, reading, and syncing an issue use the right project.read_issuecan select a saved link by URL when two hosts have the same repository and issue number. This layer builds on live issue status, above the original issue tracking PR.
Verified with focused dialog, panel, source-project, and MCP tests; scoped type checks and lint; and a real web client using fake local host data. The images show the old PR-only panel, the combined panel, and issue/PR previews. The updated short-reference preview is shown below.

This panel is available on web and desktop. Mobile keeps the existing issue tracking limits. Older servers retain their supported link actions.
Models: Claude Opus 5.5 High for UI; GPT-6.1 Sol High for source identity and MCP integration. Harnesses: native Claude and Codex through T3 Code.
