In every scene, the walls nearest the camera drop to a stub, so the rooms open toward you. From straight above, every wall stands, as on a floor plan.
There is no build step. The pages load three.js 0.160 from jsDelivr through an import map, and ES modules need a web server, not file://.
python3 -m http.server 8000Then open http://localhost:8000/ from the repo root.
- 3D library: three.js, MIT.
- Sounds: CC0 and public-domain recordings from Freesound and Wikimedia Commons, listed in sopranos/audio/CREDITS.md, breaking-bad/audio/CREDITS.md, friends/audio/CREDITS.md and seinfeld-v2/audio/CREDITS.md.
- Breaking Bad's pilot site: elevation from the USGS 3D Elevation Program and aerial imagery from the USDA National Agriculture Imagery Program, both public domain. Stars: the Yale Bright Star Catalogue (5th edition).
- The Sopranos: the ground at Harriman State Park and North Caldwell from the USGS 3D Elevation Program, the woods from USDA NAIP imagery, both public domain; the roads, the lake, the house's and the pool's outlines from OpenStreetMap, © OpenStreetMap contributors, ODbL.
- The Friends layout follows Iñaki Aliste Lizarralde's hand-drawn plan of the two apartments, and photos of the sets.
A fan project. The shows and their characters belong to their owners; nothing here is affiliated with them.
The code is MIT, see LICENSE. The sounds keep their own CC0 and public-domain terms.
