Hi John,
Right now there are four variants of bidmach scripts in the master repository:
- bidmach
- bidmach.cmd
- bidmach65
- bidmach_full
The bidmach.cmd and bidmach_full look like legacy scripts that can safely be removed to avoid clutter.
I would strongly recommend updating the Installing and Running wiki page to gently remind the user that their cuda version and the cuda version in the bidmach script should match. Specifically, in the following line:
JCUDA_VERSION="0.7.0a" # Fix if needed
Otherwise the user after running ./bidmach may get "jcuda not found" errors and may not realize that he/she is using cuda 7.5 whereas the current version (as of today) is 7.0 in the bidmach file.
PS: On a related note, I noticed that I may have mistakenly changed the bidmach script configuration file. It was last updated in this commit, where I had to change the memory requirement for a task:
4d3776d
The only change I made was to change the amount of heap space. You may want to change that back to what you had before. Sorry, I don't know what happened there, I thought I kept bidmach clean.
