When checking the running iisnode.dll in my azure windows appservice, it states it is using version 0.2.27, which apparently is not in github. Is there a reason for it?
Although confirmation from a Microsoft employee would be required for specifics, several points are notable:
version 0.2.26 was released in February 2017, and the number of commits between 2017 and 2021 would warrant a new release.
Given that the repository is under the Apache license, no further modifications are necessary for open publication.
Therefore, it is possible that Microsoft Azure either overlooked tagging a 0.2.27 release or deliberately chose to keep subsequent releases private. But neither has negative impact on you if you are hosting your apps on Azure anyway, as you are covered by their technical support.

At least I found a commit changing version text file to 0.2.27
