Reason: Complete regional MiniMax transport support and make MiniMax-M3.1-Flash the default while retaining MiniMax-M3 and explicit saved model choices.

Changes

  • Provide regional Chat Completions and Messages presets with the existing image-content conversion.
  • List MiniMax-M3.1-Flash first/default and MiniMax-M3 second; refresh context, output, thinking, effort, and tiered pricing metadata.
  • Preserve constructor, environment, and per-request model overrides, including legacy/custom IDs and custom endpoints. Request options remain caller-controlled.
  • Document protocol-specific effort options and service defaults, with links to the official model, API, and pricing references.
  • Add offline HTTP-boundary coverage for both protocols and both regions, model precedence, effort passthrough, and preservation of image content.

Verification

  • Python bytecode compilation of the changed client and tests: passed.
  • Offline serialized HTTP-boundary runner: 28 scenarios passed, with no network requests or paid inference.
  • git diff --check: passed.
  • python -m pytest -q: 52 passed.
  • python examples/01_molecule_roundtrip.py: all four molecule round trips passed.
  • python .claude/skills/molecode/scripts/molecode_convert.py doctor: dependencies available.
  • python -m build --no-isolation: wheel and sdist built successfully using pinned local build tools.
  • python -m twine check dist/*: both artifacts passed.
  • python -m pip check: no broken requirements.
  • Validation used an isolated Python 3.10.12 environment with RDKit 2024.9.6, NetworkX 3.4.2, pytest 8.3.5, build 1.2.2.post1, twine 6.1.0, setuptools 80.9.0, and wheel 0.45.1. Earlier missing-dependency and shared-lock setup blockers are resolved. Deprecation warnings remain in untouched polymer and package-license declarations.
  • GitHub reports no PR check runs; the repository workflow publishes on release tags only. No paid inference was performed.

This branch includes the commits in #2 and retains their transport behavior. No nontext generation integration is changed.

I pushed a follow-up commit that updates the MiniMax Anthropic Messages request to use the documented API-key header and avoids sending the incompatible zero default temperature. I ran Python bytecode compilation, git diff --check, and a focused mocked transport check.
