Browse button freezes #9

Bug description

Pressing the "Browse" button to select the output directory makes the GUI freeze.

camera36, commit: c82b021 (nov 19 2022, latest as of now)

Steps To Reproduce

Launch the GUI, press Browse.

The function that seems to freeze is filedialog.askdirector()

Using filedialog.askopenfilename() works, but this requires a file, however we want to be able to specify an empty directory.
