In order to support unit testing and other capabilities, the CS will eliminate the current ActivitySim dependency on the external Orca library. CS will refactor Activity core functions and model steps to reflect a more typical Python style, passing in required variables as inputs in order to eliminate the reliance on orca to manage the program’s state.
