Problem Statement

It would be nice to have the sounds on the countdown timer, when it gets to 10 seconds. (Same sound as official app).

Sound on start of final rep. I can't seem to hear one and although I count the reps in my head, it would be nice to have that sound play (Same as official)

The chirps for reps - I find them hard to hear with music on. I don't find a similar problem with the official sound so maybe even tuned into that now or there is something about it that is more distinct. (They seem to have more an echo with them)

The 'warm up reps' - the beeps seem off there? Not sure if first is getting a beep?

Proposed Solution

The sounds in the official app are well done. I would look at emulating those where possible.

Improvements for sounds.

Countdown timer - both between sets and on body weight timer sets. Ideally would have a sound during last 10 seconds to indicted the set is starting or finishing. A couple of times I was just sitting there and hadn't realized the break timer had finished - I think I'm used to the Vitruvian app giving the audio cue. Same as during body weight, that tick tock to tell you time is running out works well.

End of set rep sound. There appears to be a quiet sound (same as one used at start), however it doesn't appear to play until at least a second or so after the last rep is completed. (I think i heard it during the set summary screen). I generally count out the reps but its caught me a few times and went to press out another next rep. Depending on exercise that leads to different results.. like an almost face smack or launch into air. Needs to be a more distinct sound that hits right at the end of the rep.

What Changed

Several audio feedback improvements to make workout events more audible and distinct:

• Final Rep sound: A distinct boopbeepbeep sound now plays on the last rep of each set, so you know when you've completed your target without looking at the screen
• Rep Completed sound upgraded: Changed from beep to chirpchirp — louder and more noticeable during workouts
• Warmup sound gating: Rep completion sounds during warmup sets now respect the repSoundEnabled preference — previously warmup reps always played sounds regardless of the setting
• Countdown ticks: Last 10 seconds of rest timer play audible ticks so you know rest is almost over
• Warmup-to-working transition: An ascending tone plays when you transition from warmup to working sets
• FINAL_REP haptic: Heavy impact haptic feedback (stronger than regular rep feedback) accompanies the final rep sound

How to Access

• All sound improvements are automatic — just work out as usual
• To enable/disable rep sounds: Settings → Sound → Rep Sound toggle
• Sound plays alongside your music (uses iOS Ambient audio category with mix-with-others)

Technical Details

• FINAL_REP HapticEvent with priority chain: final rep sound always plays even if rep sound is disabled
• COUNTDOWN_TICK and WARMUP_TO_WORKING HapticEvent types added
• Both Android (SoundPool) and iOS (AVAudioPlayer) implementations updated
