Porting LMIC Library to STM32 (Nucleo-WL55JC1) - SPI Pin Issue #2675
|
Hi, I am trying to make the LMIC Library from IBM work, but it just uses the default This is what is written in the #include <Arduino.h>
#include <SPI.h>
// SPI settings
static const SPISettings settings(10E6, MSBFIRST, SPI_MODE0);
static void hal_spi_init() {
SPI.begin();
}
void hal_pin_nss(u1_t val) {
if (!val)
SPI.beginTransaction(settings);
else
SPI.endTransaction();
digitalWrite(lmic_pins.nss, val);
}
// Perform SPI transaction with radio
u1_t hal_spi(u1_t out) {
u1_t res = SPI.transfer(out);
return res;
}This main code works on an Arduino Pro Mini, but I was porting it to an STM32: #include <lmic.h>
#include <hal/hal.h>
#include <SPI.h>
//
// For normal use, we require that you edit the sketch to replace FILLMEIN
// with values assigned by the TTN console. However, for regression tests,
// we want to be able to compile these scripts. The regression tests define
// COMPILE_REGRESSION_TEST, and in that case we define FILLMEIN to a non-
// working but innocuous value.
//
#ifdef COMPILE_REGRESSION_TEST
# define FILLMEIN 0
#else
# warning "You must replace the values marked FILLMEIN with real values from the TTN control panel!"
# define FILLMEIN //(#dont edit this, edit the lines that use FILLMEIN)
#endif
// This EUI must be in little-endian format, so least-significant-byte
// first. When copying an EUI from ttnctl output, this means to reverse
// the bytes. For TTN issued EUIs the last bytes should be 0xD5, 0xB3,
// 0x70.

Hi,
default SPI pins used for the SPI instance of the Nucleo WL55JC1 are:
Arduino_Core_STM32/variants/STM32WLxx/WL54JCI_WL55JCI_WLE4J(8-B-C)I_WLE5J(8-B-C)I/variant_NUCLEO_WL55JC1.h
Lines 32 to 34 in 750d92f
If you want uses different pins you can change them:
Arduino_Core_STM32/cores/arduino/pins_arduino.h
Lines 57 to 65 in 750d92f
